There’s a reason we’ve received more than one particular “best Peru ever” comments more than the final three years: the cenfrocafe cooperative cups and selects the best coffees from their leading member farms (1-4 bags of production for most) to build their APU designated lots. The cooperative then cautiously pulps, and washes the cherry before sun drying on covered raised screens. Not only are all the APU lots certified fair trade and organic certified this year, the shade canopies from the chosen farms buffer the Santuario Nacional Tabaconas Namballe forest reserve situated in northern Peru right on the Peru-Ecuador border.
