I've been searching for a while for a strong black tea to be my morning pick-me-up. I do drink coffee, but I enjoy tea a great deal more. Most of the teas I've tried have good flavor, but they get bitter very fast if I've accidentally steeped the tea too long, which tended to spoil my enjoyment. I'd expect a smooth drink, and I'd end up making a face in reaction to how bitter the tea would be. So why don't you just make sure you don't steep it so long, I hear you ask. Because I'm not a morning person, and I'm not setting a timer for steeping my tea. That's a level of commitment I'm not prepared to make every day while I'm getting ready for work. I also drink my tea black, so I don't cover up flavors with sugar and milk.

I've tried the Choice Organic English breakfast tea, and, while strong and flavorful, it falls into the bitter-if-oversteeped category. Given the good flavor of that tea, I crossed my fingers and went ahead with the purchase of this 6-box set. This tea, the Celtic breakfast tea, isn't bitter. The flavor is stronger than almost any other tea, as you'd expect from an Irish breakfast style tea. I also think is the best-tasting tea I've had; better than the expensive loose-leaf stuff you can by from Octavia or other brands. I was sold after the first cup of Celtic breakfast, and this will be the only tea I'll buy for a while.

If you like a strong black cup of tea, stronger than English breakfast tea and with a slightly malty flavor, you'll like this Celtic breakfast tea.

I get a crazy hacking dry cough whenever winter sets in and I cough for hours together which can be very inconvenient and annoying. The doctors told me that I might be asthmatic but the inhalers don't really help. I accidentally drank this tea at a coffee shop in an airport and instantly felt better after having coughed all through my flight. I vaguely remembered the name and found this on Amazon. I have made this a part of my nighttime routine and I swear by this products ability to calm irritated tickly throat during the night. The mint flavor with a sweet after-taste of licorice makes this tea something I look forward to every night. They are a tad expensive, but hey, it is so much better not to wake up in the middle of the night and cough relentlessly for hours.

I give it a 3 star rating probably because I've had better. Tea pigs from the U.K. has the same Licorice peppermint tea that is simply outstanding. I assumed that this would be good too. And anything organic I'd love to support. This is a fairly 'ok' tea. But not superlative.

I just received it and took my first cup. It is nice, green and tastes good. I earlier had a box of Dragon Well tea which I had bought from Tully's Coffee shop at Seattle when I visited there. upon comparing the taste and quality, they are similar.

I would like to avoid individually packed tea-bags, perhaps the individual packing itself adds to the cost. I would prefer a bag with just the tea bags. (just like Tully's tin of green tea bags - round shaped tea bags). Hence, I am giving 4 stars. I have a monthly subscription for this tea.

Over recent years I have revamped my eating habits considerably. Eight years ago I stopped drinking coffee and to this day drink tea instead. I drink three to four cups a day, and only black tea. About two years ago I found out that tea leaves are not washed and therefore any chemicals sprayed on the leaves end up in the tea itself. For that reason, I started drinking only organic tea. Immediately I could taste the difference. After searching around, and trying about eight to ten different types, I have to say that this is the best tasting full bodied tea. I do rotate it with other organic black teas, but this is my primary tea of the day. As is the case some times, I do have to order it on amazon because I can't find it in any stores in my area. A small price for a gooooooood cup of tea. ENJOY!

Previously I had bought and thoroughly enjoyed Adagio Teas Green Tea, Dragon Well. I wanted to try another brand, and ordered this tea, partly due to being attracted by the organic label and the brand name.

    What a mistake!

First of all, the tea leaves in this tea are so small (almost like ground particles) -- very uncharacteristic of dragon well teas.

Second, the taste is so bland, and so weak. I can swear that all I taste is simply the paper bag!

I literally had to throw 5 packs away, with plastic film covers intact! Along with the first pack that was open.

To really taste dragon well tea properly, avoid this tea by all means. The first tea that I bought, Adagio Teas Green Tea, is heaven compared with this.

After enjoying some licorice peppermint tea at a local restaurant, I was eager to find some for at home. This is a fine peppermint tea, I was happy to find a herbal blend (caffeine-free), but I cannot taste any trace of licorice in it. Especially disappointing as I took a risk and bought the 6-pack. I should have taken my time and read more reviews for the other varieties!

I first drank jasmine tea in a San Francisco when I was a child and have been looking for it ever since. I found a box of this brand at a local overstock store, but they didn't have it the next time I went so I'm thrilled to have found it online. Sometimes things remembered are a disappointment when you find them again, but this was as good as I remembered from my childhood. I served it to my son who has given up coffee and he loved it too. There are more expensive jasmine teas available - Peet's pearls, e.g., - but this one rivals them and are reasonably enough priced that you can serve it whenever you feel the urge.
