My five-year-old daughter is on a medicinal liquid diet for Eosoniphilic Esophagitis and has to drink her food! She has a lot of health issues but she was resisting the medicinal food. My husband suggested adding sugar to make it taste better. Adding regular sugar would only aggravate some of her other health/digestive problems, but I remembered that she loves strawberry flavored things and happened to have a bottle of this. We tried a tbsp. in her 8 oz. drink and she drank it all!

I feel a lot better that I'm using an organic product and one that is not sugar cane. Blue Agave is a new product to me, but my sister raved about it when I asked her. She uses it with her young children and for herself. This syrup comes in many flavors, so there are a lot of options. My daughter is a picky eater (or picky about her flavors!) and the strawberry flavor is not readily available. I've only been able to find it here on Amazon.

I recommend this Blue Agave Sweetener from Wholesome Sweeteners b'c you don't need a lot to sweeten your food or drink and it's a natural product. Anyone would enjoy this product as a sweetener; though if you use the plain blue agave it may take a little getting used to the difference between it and regular sugar. But it's worth it and your body will thank you for it! I know my daughter's does!

This product is a sweet syrup, but has little to no strawberry flavor. I was trying to find an organic/all natural strawberry syrup to make strawberry milk and to use on ice cream, but we tried to mix it with milk and it only sweetens the milk. I am now stuck with 6 jars of this product because I was unaware that returns are not allowed on grocery items.

We use this syrup instead of regular colored strawberry syrup. Agave has a low glycemic index, and perfect for those who try to cut back on regular sugar. The color is not striking as artificial color, but taste is great! We mix this with organic fat free milk to make our own strawberry milk instead of buying already made strawberry milk. Sometimes my son likes to pour this on some fresh strawberries to make it a great desert.

This is fantastic stuff. I am diabetic and although I have gotten used to the taste of artificial sweetener, some times I still crave a little sugary sweetness. This fills the bill. It tastes great and is low glycemic which means it does not spike my blood sugar.
