    Well, these are almonds. I bought them for making almond milk and they worked well as I think any almonds would. The main reason I chose these though, was the fact that they're organic, grown in the U.S., and the cost per pound (while not cheap) was the best I've found. Non-organic almonds seem to be less expensive but I'm trying to eliminate toxins in my diet, otherwise I would just use store-bought almond milk.

    Can't really taste any sweetness of the almonds as some reviewers do (that's the primary reason I bought this). Upon buying, I gave away 1/3 of the bag as 5 pounds is a bit too much for me. The problem was, at first, I had slight stomach pain each time after I ate it. Since I still had about 3 pounds of it, I still had to eat it as I fear it'll soften over time (as most nuts do). Progressively I eat less and less each time until 5-6 nuts as more than that will give me the uncomfortable pain in my stomach. Finally when I have less than 1 pound left, perhaps my stomach was used to it by then and I no longer had any problem with it even if I ate more than 6 nuts in one sitting. Before this, I never had any problem with eating any kind of nuts. I wonder if this happens to other people too but for me, I won't buy this again.
