Oatmeal is filling and satisfying. The Old Fashioned version is easier to digest for most people and a very flexible grain. I also use it to make oatmeal peanut butter bars and oatmeal cookies with walnuts and cacao nibs. Yummy!
To save time, I make the 5 serving option on the box, eat one right away and freeze 4 servings. I bought glass freezer-to-microwave containers on Amazon. Did you know you can freeze almost any food? Freezing meals made a huge difference in my life.
