    I have been buying local honey at the farmers` market and it is always good. I mainly use it as a sugar substitute in my hot tea. I thought I would try the Kirkland Organic, but it just can`t measure up to the local honey. I shouldn`t have bought three bottles until I tried it, but we live and learn.

    I found it hard to pull out of the container, despite soaking my bear in very hot water. I took off the lid and began scooping out the honey. I found MASSIVE QUANTITIES of cane sugar (an ingredient not listed on the bear), I take sulfa drugs so my hand began rashing all over. I washed my hands and discarded as much of the cane sugar as possible. I put 2 tablespoons of what was left on my french toast (my favorite bedtime snack) and consumed it before bed. As soon as the sugar hit my bloodstream I felt extremely sick, so sick that I had a migraine, my cough got WORSE, and I took some chamomile (without honey) so I could sleep it off. I woke up 3 hours later with my entire sinus gelled up and unable to breathe. My eyes, ears, and nose were sealed shut. I had to unglue my sinus with a steamy shower. So this begs the question: why is Costco feeding their bees cane sugar? Is this cane sugar non GMO? Why is their organic honey making my cold WORSE?

    I think the answer lies in the energy and intention of this product. It is clear that they are poisoning the bees with cane sugar to reduce prices on honey. The bees get colony collapse syndrome, a immunodeficiency disorder, and then pass this along to YOU the consumer. Buying this product is extremely irresponsible to: your body, the bees, and the environment. If I could, I would sue Costco because this is not food grade honey.
    For now I'll go to my local beekeeper and pay 5x the price for honey that is sourced ethically and I can use as medicine for my body.
