- Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2013Losing plants to garden pests is no fun. I've just about given up on strawberries because every time the fruits start to ripen, they get sucked up by flies..! And, I'm reluctant to use chemical pesticides, for obvious reasons. I was very pleased to find this book packed full of safe, simple, practical and cost-effective methods for organic pest control. The information within is invaluable and well-presented. I'm looking forward to successfully growing strawberries, and more...!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2013I was very impressed at the amount of research that went into creating this book. I am truly interested in organic and sustainable lifestyle and this extremely informative guide gave me plenty of ideas. For sure I will have to read it again, take some notes and actually take action and apply what I learned. I do lots of reading from Amazon and from what I have experienced it is not every day that you find a book that is filled with professional and well-explained expert advice…Glad I found this one- It deserves at least 5 stars!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2014I was aware that companion planting works against garden pests so, gave this book a try. I like to avoid chemicals when I can and this gave me some great ideas for planting certain flowers and herbs and which pests they deter for my garden this year.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2013Growing your own food is probably one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself.
But one draw back is dealing with all the pest that want to destroy your hard work. And you don't want to negate all your hard work by using all those poisonous pesticides which is probably one of the reasons you decided to grow your own food. And this book even have organic ways to clean store bought food and of course your own food.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2014I was looking for an organic way to eliminate squirrels and could not find it. But thanks for the effort.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2014I can't wait to try some of these ideals. I don't like using insecticides. Very simple and down to earth and very worth trying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful
Great tips. I don't necessarily grow "organic" in my garden, but I wanted some help with the pests that would not be harmful to my pets.
