Which cereal type is best for your baby?

Ingredients

Organic Whole Grain Oat Flour, Alpha Amylase (Enzyme), Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Electrolytic Iron.

Directions

Store in a cool dry place. Use within 30 days of opening. Instant: Simply mix and serve. 1. Pour desired amount of cereal into bowl. 2. Stir in liquid of choice: breast milk, infant formula, juice, water or - for older babies - milk. For babies first introduction to cereal, mix approximately 1 tablespoon dry cereal with 3 tablespoons of breast milk or infant formula. Gradually increase amount and thickness with the next few feedings. 3. Serve as is or warm. For best microwave results: Heat liquid of choice on medium (50%) power for 15-30 seconds. Mix thoroughly with cereal and carefully test temperature before serving. Note: Breast milk should not be microwaved as it breaks down composition. For Maximum Iron Nutrition: Serve Earth's Best Cereal with a good source of Vitamin C, such as breast milk, infant formula or Earth's Best baby food or juices.

We used his formula as the liquid portion and added a 1/4 of a banana puréed into the oatmeal. Mixed it thoroughly and warmed it. Our son devoured it. His spit up is reduced, his bowel movements improved and gas is coming out 😉 even though we only do one early evening feeding a day right now. Lastly, because we make this his early evening meal he stays full and sleeps an extra hour or sometimes two at night. Incredible! Highly recommended! My Dr recommended this brand and so we thought it was safe. I never write reviews but goodness this product is awful. After two terrifying situations with our son we were able to pin to the cereal. He would eat it and then projectile vomit for hours. The first time resulted in taking him to the ER for six hours. We waited over a week to give to him again and bam, the same. My poor baby is sooo lethargic and tired from throwing up soooo much. I started doing more research and found so many similar situations from the brand. It is not safe, not worth the risk. I feel so guilty for giving it to him again after the first time.
