The story of how I came about St. Dalfour's earl grey is a long story.
I first tried Bigelow brand earl grey tea. That was some foul stuff. It tasted like the dirty water one has used to wash the dishes. I decided to give earl grey another try while at a friend's party. All fifteen of us there wanted to drink tea, and my friend had Twinings earl grey. I like Twinings. It's pretty good value, and it doesn't taste bad. Their earl grey is palatable. The very next day, while visiting a neighbor, I was offered tea. She had a two gallon jar of teas of various brands and types. I saw that she had St. Dalfour's earl grey. I also saw that the tea bag claimed to be of organic origins. I tried it. It was delicious. I finally understood what all the hype about earl grey. When I saw that St. Dalfour had a sale, I snapped it up.
That is the long story of how I came to like earl grey.

My daughter and I was given an assortment of teas and came upon St. Dalfour earl grey. We absolutely love it. I've had a different brand of earl grey in the past and didn't care for it. I took my chances and so happy I did. I chose the 6 boxes, 25 tea bags per box. It came wonderfully packaged. They were in a box sealed in plastic. Each tea bag is in a foil envelope you have to rip open. The expiration date is in two years. The taste and flavor are wonderful and never changes. Hope you enjoy it like we do! :)

This is a great earl grey. It used to be my go to, but I've switched to loose -- Davidson's Organic earl grey with lavender. This is a great one, though. I drank it black, generally.

An admitted fan of Stash Earl Grey, nevertheless I endeavor to try them all. St. Dalfour seemed intriguing, being a French company instead of British, so I gave it a try. This tea neither tastes nor smells anything like Earl Grey. The aroma of the tea upon opening the bag is rather bland with no hint of bergamont. Believe it or not, the aroma and flavor after steeping are a mild licorice. I'm serious! If I was given this tea with no forewarning, I would have assumed it was Licorice Tea. The flavor is not unpleasant, bland, but definitely not Earl Grey. Be forewarned if you are seeking an Earl Grey aroma/flavor - this is not it.

I am very disappointed after drinking my first cup of this tea. I wish I would have read the reviews. I love Earl Grey because of the fresh flavor of bergamot, but this tea does not even have a hint of bergamot! Sadly, I bought a pack of 16 with 25 tea bags per box, and I will have to find them a a new home : (

The only problem I have with this tea is you need to be very careful in pulling the string otherwise the tea bag breaks. Also several of the bags were already ripped in our batch.

This is my favorite Earl Grey tea. I was so happy to find it at Amazon as it's no longer available on St. Dalfour's website. This is a wonderful tea - light if you don't steep too long but can be much stronger if steeped longer. That's true of most teas but, unlike other teas, it doesn't become bitter. I bought a lot because I drink a lot of it! Great hot in the morning and refreshing iced later in the day. I go to France once a year but hate to take up valuable suitcase space with big boxes of tea. So glad I don't have to now that Amazon is my U.S. supplier!

This Earl Grey organic tea was recommended to me by a friend who said it was one of her favorites. I loved St. Dalfour's Darjeeling tea, so I decided to try this flavor, even though I sometimes find Earl Grey a little too strong. Not this time - I followed the brewing instructions on the tea bag and enjoyed this tea as much as any tea I have ever tried. I love the taste and also the aroma as the hot water releases the fragrance of the tea. I will be drinking this tea often. It is the perfect compliment to a good book.
