got tired of looking for spoons, used to use refined sugar cubes but had different size cups which called for different amounts of sugar and i felt sorta stupid cutting ip sugar cubes. this seemed like a good solution after i switched to unrefined because of the different sizes for different cups but heres the problem-they take a while to disolve and often i either dont want to or cant wait around to supplement so i err on the side of caution and ultimately am training myself to like a sweeter cup of coffee and if i had to guess a sweeter everything which at the end of my life will end up being quite a large sum of sugar. Plus its really justa pain in my ass aafter waiting for beans to grind, mug to preheat (you GOT to preheat) and coffee to brew im just too immature to wait for sugar to dissolve.
This started as a one star review but im changing it to a five as i now realize its my inequities as a human that keep this product from satisfying. Product does as it should-varrying and therefore custom sized chunks of raw sugar, the sugar is sweet and it is tan in color. There. It is with a sad heart that i switch back to spoonfuls of sugar-WAIT! i just remembered an idea i had a while back which is to just sweeten my milk! Yeah, see i only use milk for coffee and i always want the same level of sweet so im just going to figure out how much to put in a half gallon and run that way. Cool, problem solved, youre welcome, maybe i should change this back to a one star...

I like this product for my coffee, it brings a mild rounded sweetness without the sharp tang of actual molasses. So much better than cloying super sweet white sugar. There are only a couple reasons I didn't rate this 5*s:
---Most of the cubes are huge. I mean really really big. Like as big as a quarter, but square. I'm halfway through the box and still have no idea the right size for my cups. I actually need to have ingested coffee before sitting to ponder the sweetness variable of cubes+coffee etc. In other words, I need something substantially smaller so I can pop 1-2 in and then add another if need be. Not plop one chuck of Mt. St. Sugar in and then realize I'm drinking coffee-syrup. Only to suffer through a couple sips so I can add more coffee variable. Bah.
---The Ingredients. I have ordered raw sugar cubes before from other companies and been quite happy with the ingredients. You know, Raw. Sugar cane. Nothing else. Well, sad to say they've doctored these up by adding ingredients. Maybe they're still 'natural', they are additional ingredients never-the-less.
Ingredients: Cane sugar, Liquid cane sugar, Coloring: ordinary caramel made from cane sugar.
I know this is kinda being fickle, but come on....why are they adding coloring?
Anyways, They're good, I just like my old ones better, but they aren't Prime anymore. I doubt I'll get these again.

It's good, sort of like Lyle's golden syrup, just in a dry form. It may look like "sugar in the raw", un-refined or turbinado sugar, but it isn't. It is cane sugar colored with caramelized cane juice. The cubes are somewhat organically shaped, meaning not geometrically square, just random sized lumps with some square-like tendencies. Works well for coffee as it melts well, not so much for herbal teas, and just okay for ordinary builder's tea. ( I prefer lemon there anyway).

I've searched for many years for these sugar cubes first off. Secondly, they are perfect for tea!
When put into a hot cup of tea I typically use 2-3 cubes, in a average sized mug.
The cubes dissolve pretty well if stirred immediately while beverage is hot. I have never had any issue with undissolved sugar granules in my tea. While I don't drink hot tea/coffee everyday, I've had the product for about 6 years and they are just as fresh as the date of purchase.
    Tea flavor suggestions:
This is absolutely yummy with Bigelow Brand Herbal Tea: Orange & Spice
Celestial Seasoning brand: Mandarin Orange Spice is also nice. It's caffeine free too

I love the flavor of these sugar cubes but wish that size was slightly more uniform. They range from tiny to huge and aren't easy to break. If most of the cubes weren't twice the size that I like in my morning coffee I would have given them 5 stars.

It's probably not fair to judge something that I didn't actually get to use. However the thousand ants that were in the boxes seemed to be very pleased with my purchase. If I ever order this again, I hope they will put my purchase in a ziploc bag or deliver it when they say they are going to

Bought these cane cubes for those times when a good tea or coffee needs a little extra touch.

They have exceeded my expectations - the only down note (and I am being extremely picky here) is that kind of flat taste at the end of a sip (sort of a faintly grassy taste) that all cane sugar has - for me anyway. YMMV of course.

Other than that it is excellent. Much, much better than the highly processed white stuff we usually see in the States. With a good tea in particular it shines. It doesn't overwhelm the tea like the processed stuff can, it just floats among the flavors of a good Darjeeling or Oolong (or whatever tea you happen to like!)

Four-and-a-half stars. The Riffy seal of approval is granted heretofore!

I like the raw sugar and often cannot find sugar cubes at a local convenient place, so ordering through Amazon was great. The cubes are not uniform in size, but I actually like that as the people in my house tend to use different amounts.
