    This is a great way to try a variety of coffee beans. The coffee is always good quality & fresh. We picked out our favorite and now order 5 pounds bags of that kind, but this is how we tried out the coffee to see which we preferred. It's a good variety pack & all the favors were nice. We had a tough time picking our favorite and we'll try other varieties from time to time. We don't buy anything but Coffee Bean Direct coffees now.

    This is a good way to sample various regions. It also comes with a nice mug. If you want higher quality coffees, order the free trade 5 pak sampler. I will try it next as it has some higher grade coffees in it.Count on all coffees to be at least 1 month after roast. The way you can tell is to look at the expired on the bottom of the bag. The date displayed is always a year from the roast date.
    Have ordered several times as an add on item.

    Coffee is great from this company. However, the varieties we got are not that exciting. Better to pay a little extra and pick the varieties you want. I think these samplers are a good way for them to dump unsold inventory that they have too much of.

    I love the Indian Monsooned Malabar that I purchase in 5lb bags each month. Thought I'd give the sampler a try. Unfortunately most of the varieties supplied with this sampler appeared and tasted old and stale. The Monsooned Malabar is always fresh and has a nice oily appearance. Unfortunately the only drinkable one of these 5 was the Espresso Roast. Disappointed given the former experience.

    It is a sampler, so we are working through the coffees a pound at a time. The Breakfast Blend is OK, a bit bland. The Costa Rica Tazzarru seemed rathere bloodless in comparison with Trader Joe's version. I haven't made it the remaining three blend as yet. I'm hoping that the coffees selected will be fuller in flavor,

    I'mm post an update as I come to them. At the moment I am back to a (significantly more expensive) Kicking Horse blend (Grizzley Claw).
