Vertical Gardening for Beginners: How To Grow 40 Pounds of Organic Food in a 4x4 Space Without a Yard (vertical gardening, urban gardening, urban homestead, ... survival guides, survivalist series) Kindle Edition
Vertical Gardening For Beginners: How To Grow 40lbs of Organic Food in a 4 x 4 space Without a Yard
You're about to discover how to grow pounds of healthy, sustainable organic foods to keep your family safe from the ever growing GMO epidemic and toxic pesticides, even if you don't have a yard or just limited by space.
Vertical gardening just makes sense. Think about it ‚ do you have enough space in your back yard to be able to cultivate pounds and pounds of precious fruits and vegetables? Even if you do, are you able to keep the zombie population who will take advantage of your good sense in a crisis by raiding your garden and stealing the food out of your family's mouths ?
This type of gardening has many advantages over traditional gardening, and once you discover how easy it is to move away from a traditional horizontally planted garden to a vertical one, you"ll be rewarded with a cornucopia of benefits. Saving space is just one reason.
Imagine not having to weed, till, or hurt your back from constant bending over? Plus it's easier to control pests and harvest fruit more easily. It's also inexpensive. You can use scrap lumber, old gutters, containers or just about anything laying around the house or yard.
More importantly, you'll have peace of mind knowing your family won't be forced to stand in long FEMA lines waiting for government handouts when crisis strikes.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2015This is a really awesome book! I live in an apartment that has a small patio, but still receives plenty of sunshine, so something like this is perfect for what I'm looking for. I don't have the ability to plant a traditional garden, but this book provided me with all of the information I need to get started with vertical gardening. I really like how it gives tips on the best types of herbs, vegetables, etc. to get started with. I'm definitely going to use this book to get started on my vertical garden. Highly recommend this book for people who love gardening.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2019Good info on the subject but the reason I only gave 3 stars was because that's about as far as it went. It vaguely covered the vast subject of the many materials and styles of how to create one.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2015If people followed this book’s advice, there would be no need to clear forest to make big plantations and it would be very good for the environment. This is a must read for people who have little space but want to produce their own fresh fruit and vegetables or people who just want to practice gardening as a hobby. It offers tips on the best plant to grow with this type of agriculture and tips on how to grow leafy plant, strawberries, herbs and root vegetables. I’m going to try this just for fun
- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2015I was very impressed by the information given in this small book. I loved the information on companion plants, and the different options suggested.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2015Living in a big city I have always wanted a garden and now I can! I learned so much about vertical gardening and now I can't wait to try some of my own organic produce! I wouldn't have guessed that so much - 40 pounds of produce can be grown with out a garden. Thanks so much for helping my family go green - urban style.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2015This was not a book, but most of what I was able to read was nothing more than an advertisement to buy the whole book, instead of reading it on my Kindle Fire. :-(
- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2015Great overview of vertical gardening. I was looking to maximize my gardening space and had heard about vertical gardening. I picked this book up to get some tips and to find out if it was right for me and my space. Lots of great content. It even had some cool DIY vertical gardening tips with great photos.

This is a good book for getting a basic knowledge of vertical gardening.
More pictures and visual explanations would be good but otherwise it is useful and knowledgable book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buena información
Trae buena información. Pensó que le faltan ejemplos (fotos) de cultivos que ya estén funcionando. Si como las zonas en que de encuentren esos sistemas. Por lo demás, esta muy bien estructurado para la persona que empieza por primera vez.
